Jump Jam

We enjoyed watching Room 3, Craigburn School,
and their dancing routines with Footsteps.
Check out their blog if you haven't already seen
their 'Rock Around the Clock' moves!
Room 16 wanted to share their 'Jump Jam' dancing for fitness.
Brett Fairweather has made this aerobic program for kids.
As you can see, we love it
and have a great time,
while we exercise!

World Cup Day

Hamilton East School had a World Cup Day to celebrate our end of term.
Who do you think Room 16 supported?
Yes!
Did you know these facts...
Capital: Dublin
Population: 4, 109,086
Official Language: Irish/English
Favourite Sport: Rugby!

We had a class party with green food.
We had basil pesto from our class garden, we spread it on our sandwiches.
Yummy green grapes, kiwi fruit and green apples too.
Delicious!

We even iced our biscuits green and put sprinkles on top!
The whole school shared lunch together on the courts.
How many different countries can you see?

Listen to us cheering for our countries!

Making Connections around the World

We have made connections around the world
with our quad blogging.

With Wix Primary in Wandsworth, London, England.

With Maraekakaho School, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.

With Craigburn Primary School, Flagstaff Hill, South Australia

Wow!
We have shared our learning and
we are meeting and making friends all over the world

Connecting with Room 14

We skyped Room 14
and invited them to visit and share our artwork.

We talked about our learning,
what we used, and how we created our art.
They loved our duck art!

Skype is a good way to make connections.
