World Cup Opening

Wow! What an amazing Opening Ceremony.  
Mrs McKenzie was very lucky to be there.  
It made me very proud to be a Kiwi!
 
Can you see me?
We all used our cell phones to make twinkling lights.
Then we flashed our phones on and off to count down
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 ...




Congratulations New Zealand and the RWC organisers!

  1. Wow Mrs Mckenzie, Whaea tash is soooo jealous that you were able to go to the opening ceremony of the rugby world cup 2011. These pictures are stunning. This encouraged Room 11 to watch the opening ceremony again today and we now know the words to the song "world in union". It's on our blog if you want to see us singing. Keep up the fantastic work R16.

  2. Mrs McKenzie - how exciting to be at the World Cup Opening Ceremony. I think that would be something so special that you will remember it for the rest of your life. Did you wear something special to the ceremony - a World Cup NZ jersey or something similar? The photos on the blog are fantastic - what a night.
