"Help" the little girl shouted. "You can't leave me behind." She got her dress all muddy running to the ship. She was barging through the howling woods. She held her dress up and started to run as fast as an ostrich. But the ship was flying as fast as an eagle. She couldn't breathe because the yellow dust was getting in her sore and dry throat. She almost lost her voice because she was yelling too much. Her family couldn't hear her. She shouted to her family, "Mum! Dad!" They didn't hear her. They kept going getting smaller and smaller.

First Born
When I was first born my mum went to hang my washing. There was a whit tail. Mum put it on me but it nearly bit me. She wacked it off me. So from that day on she used the drier to dry my clothes.

My Dad
Dad looks like my little white car at home but I think he looks like a strawberry. He likes to show off. Dad likes to wear blue t-shirts and red pants. dad can make metal because he works at colour works. Once we crushed cans, he took it to work and he made it into a big block. I thought it was a tramp but it was not a tramp. We love to make sandcastles. After the beach we love to get ice cream together.

Changes
Changes
I love the way
the leaves fall because it looks like they are twirling with a tutu on. The next thing that we see is the sign,
‘Stand tall. Reach high. Tu tangata! Tu
maia! Next is the green pool. Eew!
We see a dead butterfly. Then we
run all around Putikitiki and come back to class to talk about all our changes. I am very exhausted from doing that long walk
and it was exhausting to walk up the big hill.
