Rabbits

Rabbits open theirr eyes when they are ten weeks or days old. Rabbits live in borrows or a hutch. They can jump like a kangaroo and they can't run like a cheater. Rabbits are soft and cuddly and fluffy. They can have a hutch that has a ramp and three rooms.

Tidy Numbers

The Ship

Lydia woke up wondering where she was! A place with mud, a pond and hills. The air was as brown as cocoa. "I wonder why my family is up there and I am down here?" she thought to herself. She thought that maybe when she had fallen asleep, she might have fallen off the ship. She ran as fast as she could to the ladder gliding in the wind. Lydia ran faster than the wind and she caught the ladder and climbed up. When she got up she couldn't see because it was night. Suddenly she could hear voices that sounded like her family. She ran to them and they were so proud to see her. They went back safely.

My Dad

Dad has a smile, black hair, a black dressing gown and a short beard. He is sweet and kind. He is sometimes grumpy. Dad is sometimes belligerent. Sometimes I ask him if we can go out but he says no, so sometimes he is boring. Dad is unhealthy because he always drinks Coke. Dad reads books about...I don't know. He looks at the computer to find out how to use his camera. Dad likes to go on Motor cycle rides with friends. Me and dad like to print things out of the printer together.

The Water Fight

Splash the water went across my face. "I hate water fights" I yelled. I want the hose! Alice kept on squirting me but I dodged. Wee! I can jump so high. She let go and I ran and grabbed the hose, I was so excited to squirt her but God dang it, she got it back! Oh no, she did pay back. The water made a strange noise it sprayed everywhere. The water touched my hand so I felt it. I felt happy because I was really hot and the water was nice. When Alice was just about to squirt me, mum came and said its time to stop having a water fight. I slipped on the grass getting off my tramp at four o clock. A butterfly flew by, it is orange and white and black.

My Mum

Mum has red, ginger curly hair and she has a big smile. She is helpful by willing to help me when I get stuck. She is loving and cares about everyone, she loves me helping her. Mum loves cats and she loves JJ,  Sally and Slim purring on her lap. Mum likes to play cards with me. She bakes ginger crunch cookies, cupcakes and cakes.

Changes

Changes

Swish, the leaves are floating and falling down on Room 16.  We are taking a walk around to find changes in the school.  The leaves are floating like a piece of paper.  Suddenly, we see the pool.   It looks like snot.  On the hall there is a new sign saying ‘Stand tall, Reach high.  Tu tangata! Tu mia!
