Our Class Garden

When we came back to school
our class garden looked
          like this...
The tomatoes had gone crazy
and a pumpkin plant was trying to steal our garden.
          So...
we staked our tomato plants
 pulled out the weeds...
and thanked the marigolds for keeping the bugs away

            We found...
 basil, spring onions, capsicum
and lots and lots of tomatoes.
Wow! We are going to be able to
make the most delicious pizza's
from our Pizza Garden!
Yum!  We can't wait!!!!

I think I would make an excellent taste tester of your pizzas when you make them!

  5. Hi Room 16
How exciting to see that this year Room 16 is a Year 2 class. Last year when we were quad blogging buddies Room 16 was a Year 1 class. This year I am not at Craigburn Primary School with my Year 1 class. I am living and teaching in Calgary Alberta Canada for a year. I am still looking forward to visiting your blog and seeing the learning you have been doing. Your garden grew so much over the holidays. You are all clever gardeners to tame it again. Here in Calgary I am teaching a Grade 3 class but unfortunately I'm not able to have a class blog. If you ever want to ask me questions about living or school in Canada i will be very happy to answer your questions. Keep up your good work. From Mrs Nelson (from Australia in 2011) now in Calgary for 2012
