Our Rhododendron Calendar Art on PhotoPeach
Hi Room 16 at Hamilton East School. We are very excited to be one of your Quad Blogging buddy schools. We are Year 1's from Room 3 at Craigburn Primary School in South Australia. We have looked though your blog and are excited to be able to get to know you a little bit better. Can you please first tell us about 'Haere mai' What does that mean and what is the language? We have admired your rhododendron artwork - it is stunning! You must be very proud of the results and of the fact that it is on display in your school's foyer. Do you have rhododendrons growing in your district?

ReplyDeleteYour Art work is fantastic and clever. We have koalas in Australia. I wish I had a pet turtle too. How did you do all of that work? You put a lot of effort in that. Your turtles are very clever. It looks like you have done lots of things in your class. Love from Amelia in Room 3
Dear Room 3 and Mrs Nelson,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your compliments. We have 27 people in our class. 'Haere mai' means 'Welcome' in Maori. Tylah-Dawnn and Battool counted 11 rhododendron trees in our school, they have all different coloured flowers.
